Setup
What setup should look like after a device is confirmed
Published 2026-10-24. Updated 2026-10-24. Written by DREXTV Saudi.

A trustworthy setup guide names the device, names the application, and shows the fields you will actually fill in. DREXTV Saudi has not confirmed those names, so it does not publish a Smart TV, Android TV, Fire TV, or mobile click-path. Inventing one would send people to the wrong store listing. The policy is on the supported devices page. This article describes the shape of a guide you should expect once the business confirms a device.
The five facts a guide must contain
- The exact model family, not “any smart TV.”
- The application name and the store it should be installed from.
- Whether you receive a username and password, a playlist address, or both.
- Which of those values you type, and which you should never post in a group chat.
- Who to contact if the application opens and the categories do not.
Until those five exist, the right preparation is the 24-hour trial on the model you own. Ask the business to send the steps for that model in the same conversation. Save them. A screenshot of your own setup is more reliable than a generic article that guesses the menu labels.
What you can do without a fake guide
Update the television’s system software before the appointment or the trial, so you are not debugging an old menu. Know the Wi-Fi password. Sit where you can read the screen. Have the model number ready. None of that installs an unconfirmed application, and none of it requires a dish.
Do not install a player recommended by a stranger who is not the business, even if the icon looks familiar. Login details for a paid term are a credential. Treat them like a password. The terms already say not to send card numbers through the website form.
When a guide is published later
It should live at its own address, link back to pricing and the trial, and match the device the business supports. It should not exist as six city copies or as a rewritten page for each language. If you are checking whether today’s site already has that guide, look at the devices page. If the model is absent, it is absent on purpose.
Picture problems after a confirmed setup are a different topic. Use troubleshooting for connection checks, and keep the device question separate from a weak Wi-Fi signal.
Three ways access is usually handed over
When a provider finally confirms a device, the handover still has to say which of three patterns you are in. Some services expect an application from a named store, then a username and password. Some expect an application plus a playlist address. Some expect a small dedicated box that is already configured. DREXTV Saudi has not said which pattern it uses, which is why there is still no Smart TV, Android TV, Fire TV, or mobile click-path on this site. The devices page is the policy. This article explains how to recognise a complete handover so you will know it when it arrives.
A handover that only says “install IPTV” is not complete. Many applications use similar icons. The message should name the application and the store, or name the box and what you do not need to install. It should say which secret you will receive and which field it goes in. It should say what to do if the menu opens and your category does not. Anything less is a hint. Hints are how people install a stranger’s file and then discover the login was for a different player.
Credentials are not a tutorial
A username, a password, and a server address are secrets. They are not a public guide, and they are not something to paste into a building WhatsApp group because the picture froze. Whoever holds them can use the access you paid for. If the screen limit is one — still unconfirmed here — their viewing may also knock yours offline. Treat the message that contains them like a bank alert. Store it where you keep other passwords. Do not screenshot it onto a camera roll you share.
The website form, when it exists, is for requesting the trial or asking a question. The terms already tell you not to send card numbers. The same restraint applies to passwords in the wrong direction: you should not invent a login, and you should not email your login to an address that is not the one on the contact page. If no address is published, nobody has been authorised to receive it.
Stores, sideloaded files, and why this site names neither
A store listing can be checked for a publisher name and for reviews that at least belong to that listing. A file sent in chat can be anything. This website will not tell you to sideload an application, because it has not confirmed an application at all. When a guide is eventually published, it should point at a store the business is willing to stand behind, or at a box the business supplied. Until that sentence exists, the safe preparation is boring: update the television’s system software, know the model code, and wait.
A relative’s working setup is evidence only for the relative’s model and the relative’s seller. If they are on a different website, their click-path can install the wrong player for you. Ask them which domain they pay, and compare it with drextvsaudi.com. If they cannot say, do not copy their steps. The 24-hour trial is the moment to follow the steps you were given for your model, not the moment to experiment with three players.
What you can still do tonight
- Read the model from the about screen or the sticker, and put it in a note titled with today’s date.
- Check that the set can reach the store you normally use for other applications. If it cannot, say so in the trial request.
- Decide whether the set is a smart television or only a display. A display needs a player the business must name.
- Forget about a dish, a city shop, and a technician visit. None of those are part of the published path.
- Read troubleshooting only after a login exists. There is nothing to repair before access is issued.
When the business later confirms a model, the public guide should be short, match the handover pattern above, and link back to pricing so nobody is sent through setup before they know the term costs SAR 260 or SAR 460. If you are looking for that guide today and you cannot find your model, the absence is the instruction. Do not fill it with steps from a video. Bring the model code to the trial, install only what you are told, and keep the secrets off the group chat.
After the first hour that actually plays
A successful first hour is not the end of setup. Write down which application you opened, which store it came from, and which category played. Then leave the set alone. Do not install a second player “just in case,” and do not factory-reset a television that is now working because a forum suggested it. If you change flats later, you will need the same three lines again, plus a question about whether the login can move. That question is unpublished, so ask it before you rely on the move.
If the first hour fails, the failure belongs in one of two piles. The application they named will not install: that is compatibility, and the device article is the checklist. The application installs and the category is missing or unstable: that is a catalogue or connection question, not a reason to invent a new click-path. Either pile ends with a note, not with a guess at the next menu. Pay SAR 260 or SAR 460 only when the hour succeeded on the set you will keep.
A small picture, a specific set
The photograph here is a shelf of dark screens. It is not a compatibility list and it does not name an application. Your model code is more useful than that picture. Copy it from the sticker or the about screen, put it beside the category you need, and wait for the business to name the store. Until that name exists, do not install a file a relative sent, and do not treat a video of a different television as this guide.
When the hour plays, save the application name, the store, and the category in the same note as the model. That note is the setup record. The public page can stay short on purpose. A later guide, if one is published, should match those three lines rather than replace them with generic clicks. Until then, the absence of a click-path is the instruction, and the payment waits on a successful hour.
